Jennifer and her family took their small martial arts school from 50 students and a few thousand dollars in revenue to an impressive $1,000,000 in just under 4 years.
After hitting the 7 Figure mark for over a decade, the pandemic of 2020 challenged martial arts schools all over the world.
During this uncertain time, school owners from around the globe reached out to Jennifer and her father, Tommy Seigler, for guidance on how to not just survive, but thrive under these difficult circumstances.
This inspired the creation of the 7 Figure Dojo program for martial arts school owners.
Now, Jennifer and her team help martial arts school owners from around the world transform their dojos into profitable businesses that provide a legacy for their families and students.
Through their hard work and dedication, these school owners are able to turn their passions into profitable, successful ventures.

GET 775 LEADS FOR LESS THAN $2 EACH? YES YOU CAN!
Generating leads is not the easiest thing to do, but generating a whopping 775 leads at one go for $1.35 each? It may sound unachievable, but it has been done. However, that amount of leads doesn’t just come in unless you have taken intentional steps towards gearing up and preparing your martial arts business for it. Jennifer Waters, the sales and systems sensei, shares how exactly she achieved this by breaking it down into simple steps that lead to having a very profitable martial arts school.
The strategy by which Waters’ was able to achieve this was by focusing on one particular avenue during a specific season, which is, the back to school season. While it seems like a generic strategy used by martial arts academies around the world, the key to generating such a huge number of leads lies in the way to go about it. The crucial point here that Waters emphasizes on, is to establish a good relationship with the local elementary school system.
If you say you have already tried that and it did not work out, here is probably how you went about it: most people usually go to the elementary school and say, “hey, we are a local martial arts dojo, we teach life lessons, can you go ahead and pass out these flyers”, to which the answer is a refusal. Looking at it from their standpoint, since they are being approached by so many local businesses daily, they cannot be inundating the students going home with flyers every single day. So this method is usually ineffective and does not lead anywhere.
A more effective approach is to think of the elementary school as an organization or business that you are trying to work with. In such a situation, not only are they going to be helpful to you, you need to be profitable to them too. Thus step one is, what does this business need that is currently not being fulfilled by anybody else? This can vary for different localities, and you need to be the one to find out what it is for your local elementary school, but one usual need that a lot of elementary schools have is the need for school supplies. Another one is they have regular faculty meetings or trainings where they will usually need a breakfast or some food, etc. So try to find out how you could help with those things. There will be many other needs they have which are not being fulfilled, that are specific to your area, so you need to go out there and find out.
This is the most fundamental key to establishing a relationship with another organization, how can you help them so that you can have a mutually beneficial partnership. The law of reciprocity basically says that when I give you something, you are more likely to want to return the favor and give me something back. You have to figure out how you can give to them first. The other party is never going to listen to you or take you seriously if you don’t first give to them and prove yourself a fruitful partner.
So that is what Waters’ martial arts business has done, figuring out what it is they can give to the other party, and ensuring that they are doing their best to give back to their partnered organization on a regular basis. Once that is done, then it simply comes down to figuring out what events you can be present at, how you will be presenting there, and what you can offer on behalf of the dojo to the student body.
Using this method, Waters’ martial arts academy was successful in generating around 775 leads by attending a back to school event that the local elementary schools were hosting. Waters says they spent about 500 dollars in total between all the supplies they needed for the elementary schools, which comes down to $1.35 per lead, which is definitely way cheaper than funding for paid social media advertising – which, by the way, is still a great way to continuously gain new leads and reach out to people who have never heard about you.
This successful lead generation was followed by a ton of people enrolling into Waters’ academy during the next 30 days, which ended up generating them over $120k of revenue in just 30 days! Thus, if you have not established a relationship yet, this is a long-term investment you need to start working on immediately.
